The appeal of a space lies in the relationship between circulation, layout and details. From redesigned vertical movement to coordinated planning and welcoming experiences, a complete design approach underpins floors 1–4 of KT Tiles' headquarters. In this conversation, Zhu Baiyang explains the ideas behind the new showroom and offers a preview of its overall layout and aesthetics.

Zhu Baiyang: In future, staff attending internal events and visiting guests will be able to move easily from the first to the fourth floor. The lift solves vertical circulation. Being transparent, it can also become a feature of the space, which I find interesting. Entering the inner hall from the ground-floor lobby, you see this attractive glass lift and begin to anticipate the floors it can take you to.

Vertical circulation at KT's headquarters combines convenience with character. The transparent panoramic lift is more than transport; it gives physical form to the brand's approach to design.
Transparent materials open up the space and connect floors 1–4 efficiently for visitors and staff. The clean, refined appearance reflects attention to detail, turning movement between floors into an experience of spatial design and reinforcing the brand's high-end character.

Zhu Baiyang: The showroom is not a collection of separate floors or areas; it is a complete whole. The façade, ground-floor display area, second-floor material selection area and third-floor offices all respond to one another. This demonstrates our planning capability and helps visitors experience the brand's professionalism.

Coordinated planning is central to the showroom and demonstrates KT's expertise. Instead of treating spaces separately, the façade and every floor form part of a unified plan, with clear functions and an emphasis on continuity and harmony.
The façade and interiors share a coherent style. The ground-floor display and second-floor material selection areas work together, while the third-floor offices fit the overall atmosphere. Careful planning and orderly circulation demonstrate the brand's spatial expertise, bringing function and aesthetics into one integrated whole.

Zhu Baiyang: Users should immediately understand how a setting feels. The ground-floor rest area and second-floor balcony add warmth, rather than presenting a cold display. Visitors can imagine their own homes and recognise the comfort and practicality.

Spatial design should respond to users and communicate warmth through thoughtful planning. KT's showroom moves beyond conventional product display by integrating realistic settings with practical functions, improving both the presentation and the experience.
The ground-floor rest area offers comfort and convenience, while the second-floor material selection space reflects real home applications. Familiar settings help visitors understand how products work and experience the atmosphere and texture they can create.
This people-centred approach expresses the brand's responsibility, service ethos and continuing pursuit of quality. The showroom becomes a place to share the brand's ideas and connect emotionally with visitors, as well as to display products.
